AppShelf
List and discover indie apps and developers
The ultimate destination to discover and showcase high-quality indie apps built by independent creators. There is a gap between indie developers building and scaling their apps. AppShelf is the bridge for this gap, giving new apps and developers a platform to be seen and to shine, and giving patrons and tech enthusiasts a place to discover, even invest, in what could be the next big thing!
As an indie developer myself, with 5 to 6 apps before building AppShelf, I realized that I have products but no place to display them. Yes, the app stores are available, however; they are teeming with apps built and owned by big corporations. My apps are buried in their ocean of apps. I thought, since there are many indie developers on the rise, why not make a space specifically for us, and as indies, we may actually be open to investors too, so why incorporate that into the platform.
Upon launch, we grew each day, there have been many positive feedback.

Who hunted AppShelf?
AppShelf was hunted by Greg Benjamin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
