Appearing.AI
Ask Anything. Get Interactive Video Answers.
[Beta Version] Appearing.AI generates short animated motion pictures with narration and clickable elements to help you research, learn, and plan. With interactive video outputs, you can dive deeper to understand any topic in a playful and immersive way, no matter how unique your question is.
My brother and I made some experimental projects with LLMs, and this one tries to solve a problem I call "the information representation problem": how can we make knowledge more understandable?
I use AI a lot and feel like it's super effective for researching any topic, no matter how unique my question is, but I get tired of reading LLM outputs quickly (I love reading books, but reading LLM responses can get tiring fast). Besides that, I've always felt explainer videos can make knowledge more consumable and easier to understand (there's also a type of information that's best shown in motion). I also think that even minimal interactivity in any kind of information representation makes it more fun and more effective for memorizing or understanding it deeply, it's a different experience when you can learn knowledge through play.
I like researching science topics in general, but there's no video or gamified way to consume knowledge when you have specific questions. So I realized I was wishing there was an app that generates video answers just for me, with interactive features. So we combined these types of media to create a platform where users can do exactly that. It generates animated motion pictures with narration and clickable elements, all at once, for your queries. It's still a bit abstract (Its in Beta), but I think the future of AI interfaces, or how we use computers in general will be something like this. We already have a lot of ideas and concepts, but we thought we needed to get some feedback now! This web application is in beta, so some limitations are to be expected, but if you're one of the early adopters of technologies like this, we'd appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on the product with us.
Have you ever wished AI didn't just answer in text, but in videos you could actually explore?
