App Dropper

Free Android & iOS app sharing.

App Dropper is the simplest way to get a build onto someone else's phone. Drag in an APK or IPA and it reads the file for you: app name, icon, version, bundle ID. Then it files the build under the right project automatically. You get one link per app that never changes, so your testers keep the same link and it always points at your latest build, with the older versions still there if you need to roll back.

Top comment

I built App Dropper because sharing app builds with testers was always annoying. Diawi links kept expiring, so I had to re-upload the same file again and again. For iOS, I had to ask each tester for their device ID, add it manually, then rebuild the app. It took way more time than it should. Diawi and tools like it are basically just file-sharing. You send a file, that's it. What I wanted was something that actually manages the app, not just sends a file. So with App Dropper, you upload your APK or IPA once, and it gives you one link that always works. It reads the app name, icon, version, and everything else on its own, no setup needed. Every new build for that app goes to the same link, and your testers get notified automatically when there's an update.
