I'm Mohd Zubair, one of the makers of AnyTool.
Here's the problem we kept running into: every time you need to compress a PDF, convert an image, or trim a video, the "free online tool" you find uploads your file to someone else's server. Your resume, your salary slip, your client's contract — sent to a stranger's cloud, processed, and (supposedly) deleted. For anything private, that's not okay. And on locked-down office machines where you can't install software, you're often stuck.
So we built AnyTool differently: the tools that process your files run entirely inside your browser. Your file never leaves your device — there's no server to upload it to, because the work happens on your machine using WebAssembly. No uploads, no sign-up, no tracking, and most tools keep working with your Wi-Fi off.
And not just the easy ones:

• Speech-to-text & subtitles — a Whisper model on your device, no API key

Honest limits, before you find them: big video re-encodes are slower than a server would be, and bounded by your device's RAM. And two developer tools — the webhook tester and the API request builder — necessarily send requests to the URL you type into them; that's what they're for.
It's completely free, with no accounts and no usage caps. It will carry ads later — but nothing we'd show ads against ever sees your files, because we never receive them.
