Anvil
All your essential developer tools, refined for Mac
Anvil is a native developer toolkit for macOS, iPhone, and iPad, built to make everyday formatting, encoding, conversion, and inspection tasks faster. Work with JSON, Base64, URLs, timestamps, JWTs, UUIDs, hashes, regular expressions, strings, SQL, CSV, YAML, QR codes, and more from one focused app. Instead of jumping between web utilities, Anvil keeps common developer workflows close at hand in a fast, native interface.
Hey Product Hunt (first time here)!
I built Anvil because I was tired of jumping between browser tabs, random web tools, and throwaway scripts for everyday developer tasks: formatting JSON, comparing text, decoding strings, converting timestamps, cleaning logs, and more.
Anvil brings those utilities into one native Mac app that feels fast, polished, and private by default.
I’d love to hear what small developer task you repeat all the time, and what tool you’d want Anvil to add next.
