Maker here. We built Ano because our own team was drowning in chat noise while our agents lived in some other tab, disconnected from where work actually happens. So we put them in the same place.
The part I'm most excited about: agents aren't bolted on, they're real members of the workspace. You can spin up a coworker right inside Ano, scope exactly which tools it can touch, and drop it into specific channels. But you can also bring your own — if you're already running something like OpenClaw or Hermes Agents, you generate a one-time key and it joins as a coworker over a persistent connection. It shows up, gets @-mentioned, replies in DMs, and does real work alongside everyone else.
Basically: your team, your Claude Code, and whatever agents you already love — all in one fast, local-first app.
