Animaid

Create the greatest anime lineup in history

A solo + multiplayer drafting game that combines hundreds of different anime characters into one database. Play against your friends or in open queue to achieve the best lineup score possible. Players get a random anime character each round and must put them in a team position (e.g., captain, ace, vanguard). Depending on the character's attributes, the placement is evaluated on a grade scale.

Top comment

I've always wanted an anime-centered game that is quick and easy to pick up; This inspired me to create Animaid. I was also influenced by other drafting games such as NBA2K and Madden which gave me the idea of combining my two biggest interests: anime and sports. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Who hunted Animaid?

Animaid was hunted by Jonathan Nguyen. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
