I built Amico Fido because I wanted to create something genuinely useful for dog owners: not just another pet app, but a free safety companion for everyday life with your dog.
The app helps dog owners: - report and discover dangers during walks - send lost dog alerts to people nearby - find nearby vets in emergency situations - keep a health diary for their dog - use AI tools for dog care, training and safety
Amico Fido has grown organically to over 30,000 downloads and 6,000 registered users, mainly in Italy and Switzerland — without funding, without a big team, and without paid acquisition.
My goal is simple: make dog safety more accessible, community-driven and free for everyone.
