I built Alyx for three reasons:
- I wanted super quick logging of caffeine on iOS.
- I wanted to see correlations between caffeine and my sleep.
- And, I wanted it have absolute best-in-class integration with Apple's APIs.
And that's how I landed on Alyx. It has over 50 Siri Shortcuts, Liquid Glass design, Visual Look Up support to log caffeine with your camera, widgets and more. Oh, and it's centered around a snarky talking espresso shot glass named...Alyx.
