Alpha Lab is what I wish existed when I first tried to learn investing — most apps either dumb it down to feel like a coloring book, or throw real-money charts at kids and call it education. Alpha Lab teaches investing the way kids actually learn: through games. There's a stock trading sim with a $10k virtual portfolio (no real money, ever), plus four arena games that build the underlying skills — Brain Blitz (10-question trivia), Speed Grid (find-the-targets in a 60s grid), AlphaWords (Scrabble-style word strategy), and Six Tries (Wordle but you guess stock tickers). Three mascots — BullishBob, BearishBarry, and Renard the Fox — drop quotes from Buffett, Lynch, and Burry along the way. Kids can compete in weekly tournaments, teachers can run classrooms with student tasks, and players earn XP that unlocks cosmetics. Live on iOS and web.
