AllerNote
AI-powered cosmetic allergy checker.
AI-powered cosmetic allergy checker that scans any product's ingredient label against YOUR personal allergens — not generic safety scores.
I built AllerNote after my family member was patch-tested and we realized no app could answer a simple question: "Does this product contain any of HER specific allergens?" Generic safety apps gave the same score to everyone, and a moisturizer rated "clean" everywhere still caused a flare-up because it contained her trigger under a different chemical name.
AllerNote lets you add your specific allergens (from patch testing or personal experience), with full INCI synonym coverage, and then scan any product label — camera or text — for a personalized Safe/Warning/Avoid verdict. It's free to use.
Happy to answer any questions about how it works or take feature requests!

Who hunted AllerNote?
AllerNote was hunted by snehal maheshwari. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
