Hey Product Hunt! I’m Devi Sri Prasad, the sole developer behind AlignCV.
Why did I build this? As a student navigating the chaotic job market, I realized that applying with the same generic resume to 50 different jobs just doesn't work anymore. You have to tailor your resume to the specific Job Description (JD) to get past Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). But doing that manually takes hours. Existing AI tools either put their features behind a massive paywall or generate un-editable PDFs that sound like a robot wrote them.
I wanted to fix that. So, I built AlignCV.
What makes it special? Instead of just spitting out a static PDF, AlignCV gives you a Cursor-like AI Editor. You can highlight a bullet point and tell the AI, "Make this more quantitative," or "Focus this on my React skills," and it updates instantly.
I also built in a deep-dive Gap Analyzer that doesn't just tell you what keywords you're missing, but calculates exactly how much adding them will boost your ATS score. Tech Stack: It’s built with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and uses a round-robin router across Groq (Llama-3) and Google (Gemini 2.0) APIs to ensure blazing fast generation speeds.
