Alano Mascot
A free, open-source cat mascot for your app
Alano is an open-source cat mascot built to fix a specific problem: AI-generated websites all look like the same because they lack character. A mascot is a perfect solution - use it in onboarding flow, chatbot, wherever. This repo pins each generation to fixed reference images and a locked style prompt, so the same mascot stays consistent across new poses, scenes, and short videos. Includes the reference set, generation scripts, and post-processing (cutouts, loops). Free for commercial use.

I built Alano for our own CRM and kept noticing the same problem in other AI-built apps: the backend works, the UI works, but nothing about it feels specific to the product. Swap the logo, and most of these apps look the same. So I'm open-sourcing Alano, the cat mascot from our app. Code is MIT. The character assets are under a free mascot license: use it commercially, adapt it, put it in your app - just don't resell the files or claim the character as your own. Right now the repo has the mascot in a few poses, plus the reference images and prompts we use to keep the character consistent across new generations. More brand assets (icons, splash screens, onboarding illustrations) are next. Repo: github.com/Pursuitli/alano-mascot. Happy to answer questions.
