I'm Emile, the founder of Akem. I built Akem because I saw two major challenges in online marketplace :
1. Buying, selling, and delivering goods locally is often fragmented and unreliable.
2. Buyers usually have no way to find what they need if a seller isn't actively offering it.
Akem solves this by making commerce a two-way street. Buyers can post their requests (Demandes) when they can't find an item, and sellers can post their offers. With transporters integrated into the platform, you can find it and get it delivered.
We just launched our web platform (akem.site) and already have our first users and listings! Our next step is the mobile app.
