As a content creator, I spent countless hours exploring how AI could truly revolutionize video editing. Then I stumbled upon the concept of “vibe coding”—and it completely reframed my perspective.
To me, arranging a video timeline is just another form of vibe coding. It all starts with a rough feeling or intuition in your head, which slowly turns into concrete visuals. The magic lies in the high-level creation—yet creators are constantly dragged down by tedious timeline tweaks, hunting down footage, and setting boring keyframes. That manual labor should be handled by AI, freeing humans to focus purely on the vibe and the story.
That’s exactly why we built Aixcut.
At first, our goal was simple: make video editing as natural as a conversation. We wanted creators to break down scripts, cut videos, and generate footage using simple text prompts.
