I'm Sascha, founder of E1NSER, a small digital agency in Vienna. We build Shopify stores, and since 2 August 2026 one question keeps coming up from our clients: "Do I have to label my AI-generated product photos?"
Under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, merchants who publish AI-generated or AI-edited images have to disclose that visibly. Shopify has nothing built in for this, so we built Aivio.
