I built AirTap to solve a simple frustration: using your phone when your hands are busy, dirty, or just not available.
What started as an accessibility idea quickly became something bigger. I realized hands-free control isn’t just for accessibility — it’s useful for everyone. Watching videos, cooking, working out, or just scrolling without touching your screen.
AirTap lets you control your phone using face gestures like swipes, winks, and head movements. No extra hardware, just your phone.
The biggest challenge was making it feel natural and reliable across different apps and lighting conditions. We’ve spent months refining the experience so it actually works in real life, not just demos.
