Airside is an aviation collector app inspired by pilot trading cards. Every aircraft type is a collectible card with rarity tiers, foil effects, and specs. I had every flight app on my phone but none of them could easily tell the stories of my air travels in a unique away. Features: - ~70+ aircraft types (Common through Mythic) - 500+ Airport cards that auto-collect when you log flights - Trip map connecting your airports and routes - AI photo identification and boarding pass scanning

Hey Product Hunt! I’m Josh, a university professor and solo developer. I built Airside to help me keep track of aircrafts I’ve been on and airports I’ve visited. The aesthetic is inspired by pilot trading cards. The concept borrows from birdwatching life lists and Pokémon-style collecting, but applied to real aircraft. Every type you fly on becomes a card in your collection. Airports too. I’m early and very open to feedback. The AI photo identification isn’t perfect, some rarity placements might be debatable for aviation folks, and I know the type list isn’t exhaustive yet. Tell me what’s wrong and I’ll fix it.
