What inspired this?
I was frustrated by a massive gap in the AI world. On one hand, commercial APIs (like Midjourney or DALL-E) are getting expensive and restrictive. On the other, mind-blowing open-source models (like FLUX.2 and Qwen) require $3,000+ GPUs and a PhD in ComfyUI node-spaghetti to operate. I wanted to build a bridge.
What problem does it solve?
AIEdit.one brings pro-level AI image generation and multi-image editing (like virtual try-on and seamless background replacement) to a dead-simple web interface. You don't need expensive hardware or complex prompts. Just upload and click.
The Story: A few weeks ago, I got hit by a car and broke my kneecap (patella). Bedridden and unable to move, I decided to channel my frustration into building something I always wanted: a pro-level AI image editor that doesn't cost a fortune.
Under the Hood: To keep costs at zero, this entire site is currently running on a single RTX 4090! Because it generates ultra-high-quality (FLUX/Qwen) images, it takes about 20 seconds per edit.
Fair Warning: Since it's just one GPU, if a lot of you use it at once, you MIGHT be placed in a queue. Please be patient with my little 4090! 😅
