What inspired you to build this?
We kept seeing the same shift across every GTM team we worked with: buyers weren’t just Googling anymore—they were asking ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity what to use. And the answers weren’t based on ads or SEO in the traditional sense.
The problem was… companies had zero visibility into how they were being represented in those answers—or if they were being recommended at all.
What problem does Vidi solve?

How did your approach evolve?
Initially, we thought this was just a visibility/monitoring problem—like “SEO for AI.”
But as we built it, we realized the real value wasn’t just tracking mentions. It was understanding why AI systems recommend certain companies and turning that into something actionable.
So we shifted from a passive reporting tool to a platform that connects signals → positioning → recommendation outcomes.
That’s when it started clicking for users—not just “where do we show up,” but “how do we become the default recommendation.
