AI Slop Detector

Spot AI slop on Reddit, X, LinkedIn & YouTube as you scroll

AI Slop Detector marks the posts in your Reddit, X, LinkedIn and YouTube feeds as you scroll: red for AI slop, blue for posts an AI helped write that are still worth reading, and green for human. Tap a label to see why, in one sentence about that post. Disagree? Overrule it and your call sticks. A tolerance slider sets how strict it is, and you can fade, blur or hide slop. Free for 100 checks a day, $3/mo for Unlimited, or $5 once with your own OpenRouter key.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built AI Slop Detector because my feeds had turned into "I got rejected 47 times. Then everything changed." What it does: as posts scroll onto your screen on Reddit, X, LinkedIn or YouTube, each one gets a small label: 🔴 Slop: broetry, engagement bait ("Agree? ♻️"), stock phrases, emoji listicles with nothing in them 🔵 AI-assisted: an AI clearly helped, but there's something real in it 🟢 Human The blue label matters to me. Using AI to tidy up a post isn't the problem; empty posts are. The bar for calling something "AI" is set deliberately high, because wrongly accusing a careful human writer is the worse mistake. You stay in control: • A tolerance slider from strict to relaxed; labels update instantly without re-checking • Tap any label for a one-sentence reason about that specific post • 👎 / 👍 to overrule it. Your marks always win. • Fade, blur or hide slop, or just leave the labels • Comments get a "Check for slop" button, so you only spend checks where you care Privacy: only the text of posts that are actually on your screen is sent for scoring. Not your DMs, not other sites. No ads, no tracking. Pricing: 100 free checks a day with Google sign-in, Unlimited at $3/month, or $5 once to use your own OpenRouter key with any model. I'd love to hear about the verdicts it gets wrong. That's the most useful feedback for tuning it. What's the worst slop in your feed right now?
