AI Signal
AI news without the firehose
AI Signal continuously scans trusted AI labs, research organizations, technical publications and news sources, filters for relevant stories, categorizes them, and gives you one clean place to follow what’s happening in artificial intelligence.
I built AI Signal because keeping up with AI had become strangely inefficient.
There are great sources everywhere — OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, Microsoft Research, NVIDIA, MIT, Stanford, independent researchers and technology publications — but following all of them means checking dozens of sites and repeatedly seeing the same stories.
AI Signal continuously monitors selected sources, filters incoming stories for AI relevance, categorizes them and presents the useful ones in one continuously updated feed.
A few things I wanted from it:
no account required to read
direct links to the original publishers
AI-specific filtering instead of a generic technology feed
topic categories for quickly scanning the news
search
RSS
a simple daily email digest
It’s intentionally not trying to summarize or replace the original journalism. The goal is to help you discover what is worth reading and then send you to the original source.
I’d especially like feedback on source quality and whether anything important is consistently getting filtered out.

Who hunted AI Signal?
AI Signal was hunted by Jeffrey T Hazelwood. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
