Hi everyone, I'm Ran. AI Ranked is a publication on how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity choose which sources to cite.
These tools came out of our own research. We read the robots.txt of 261 major websites and found 21% block at least one AI search crawler, the bots that decide whether a site can be cited in AI answers. So we turned the checks we kept running by hand into free tools:
- robots.txt checker: see which of 21 AI user agents can reach your pages
- Citability grader: a 0 to 100 score across 12 checks, each with a one-line fix
- llms.txt generator: a valid file, checked against the spec as you type
- Schema generator: JSON-LD for FAQPage, Article, Organization, HowTo and SoftwareApplication
