AI Budget Assistant

Budget by voice, receipt photo or chat — with your family

Budgets die because typing every transaction is tedious. This one removes the typing: say it, photograph the receipt, or let Android read your bank's push notification — no credentials, parsed on device. What's different: one budget shared by a family, each logging from their own phone, with owner/editor/viewer roles. Receipts split across categories on their own, and a line pricier than you usually pay gets flagged while you're still at the till. Free, 9 languages, Android and any browser.

Hi PH 👋 I built this because logging expenses is the reason most budgets die — typing every transaction is tedious, so people quit by week two. So capture got three routes instead of one: say it ("twelve for coffee"), photograph the receipt (OCR reads amount, date, merchant and the individual lines), or — on Android — let the app read your bank's push notification and log the expense itself. No bank credentials anywhere; the notification is parsed on the device and never leaves it. The part I'm most attached to is the shared side. One budget, everyone logging from their own phone, with owner/editor/viewer roles — so a partner can add expenses and an accountant can only look. Splitting a restaurant bill sends each friend a private link with just their share and a pay button; they need no app and no account. Honest caveats: we're newer than the big names, and there's no native iOS app yet — iPhone users run the full web app at app.ai-budget.pl, which installs to the home screen and works like an app, but it's not the App Store. Free to start, 9 languages. I'd genuinely like to hear what would make you stick with a budget past week two — that's the whole problem I'm trying to solve.
