I built AgentSeed because I kept seeing the same problem with AI coding agents: the quality of their work depends heavily on the project instructions they’re given, but most repos either have no AGENTS.md or a rushed one.
AgentSeed helps you generate a practical, repo-ready AGENTS.md by choosing your stack, architecture, coding standards, testing expectations, setup tasks, and agent behavior rules.
A few things I wanted from the start:
no login
no API keys
no external AI generation
deterministic markdown output
useful for Codex, Claude, Cursor, and similar tools
easy copy/download into an existing repo
It’s intentionally simple. The goal is to help developers give coding agents better context before they touch the codebase.
I’d love feedback on the generated instructions, missing sections, and what presets would make this more useful for your own projects.
