Aftercall
Meeting notes that write themselves, privately on your Mac
Aftercall notices when a Zoom, Teams, Meet or WhatsApp call starts, transcribes both sides on your Mac, and writes the notes: a topic-by-topic summary with source links, action items, your own notes and the full transcript. Free; speaks English and Hebrew.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Yossi. I spend most of my day on calls, and I loved Notion's AI meeting notes — but I wanted something that works with every call app, keeps my audio on my own Mac, and saves plain files I own.
So I built Aftercall:
• It notices when Zoom, Teams, Meet, Slack, WhatsApp or FaceTime starts using your mic and offers to take notes (a 30-second prompt, no bots joining your call).
• Both sides are transcribed locally on the Mac's Neural Engine — audio never leaves your computer. Calls can switch between English and Hebrew mid-conversation.
• When the call ends it stops by itself and writes a summary organized by topic, with names, decisions and action items. Every point links back to the moment it was said.
• Everything is saved as Markdown + JSON in a folder you choose, with optional export to Notion, Google Drive or a webhook.
• Summaries use your Claude subscription through Claude Code if you have it, or an Anthropic API key.
It's free and updates itself. I'd love your feedback — what should it do next?
