Hey Product Hunt, maker here. I have a Claude Max subscription and I wanted a couple of teammates, and my own scripts, to use it. But I did not want to hand out my login, and I did not want one runaway job to burn everyone's limits for the day.
So I built Aegis. It wraps the Claude Agent SDK (which bundles the Claude Code CLI, so it runs off your subscription login, not an API key) and puts a multi tenant API and an admin dashboard in front of it. Everyone gets their own key with their own rate limit and daily cost cap.
There are streaming chat sessions with isolated workspaces, autonomous objective loops that self grade against a rubric, MCP server support, an OpenAI compatible endpoint, and a dashboard that shows your live Claude plan limits.
It is one docker compose up, FastAPI and SQLite under the hood, Apache 2.0, around 220 tests.
Honest note: it runs on a personal or Team subscription login, so it is meant for you and people you trust, not a public paid service. It can switch to API key billing for the commercial route.
