AccessLens
Free website accessibility scans in plain English
AccessLens scans any website against WCAG 2.1 standards and turns the results into a plain-English, prioritized to-do list — not a wall of jargon. Free scan, no account required.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Roshan, the maker of AccessLens.
Over 3,100 website accessibility lawsuits were filed in US federal court in 2025, up 27% on the year before. Many start as a demand letter over small things: missing alt text, low-contrast text, form fields with no real label. Most small business owners have never checked their site, and the tools that exist are built for developers and compliance teams.
So I built AccessLens for the owner who just wants to know "is my site okay, and what do I fix first?" Paste a URL and you get a score plus a plain-English, prioritized fix list. No account needed. It runs the same axe-core engine accessibility engineers use, just translated out of WCAG jargon.
We're in early access, so monitoring (scheduled re-scans, email alerts when something breaks, PDF reports) is free too. It's normally $29–$79/mo.
I'd love your take on two things:
1. Run it on your own site. Did the fix list make sense without a developer?
2. What would make you trust the results enough to act on them?
Happy to answer anything below. Thanks for stopping by!
