Why I started building Abundio It started with a mess of terminal windows. Over the past year, I've been working with a lot of different CLI coding agents, Claude Code, Copilot CLI, Gemini, OpenCode. Each one is great at something. But running them day to day, I kept hitting the same wall: I had no single place to see what all my agents were doing. One agent was churning through a refactor in one window. Another was waiting on my input in a window I'd forgotten about. A third had finished ten minutes ago and I had no idea. I was alt-tabbing between windows, losing track of which agent was in which repo, and constantly context-switching just to figure out where my attention was actually needed. What I wanted was simple to describe and apparently hard to find: a centralized overview of my agents. One screen where I could glance and immediately know, who's working, who's waiting on me, who's done. I tried to make it work in the tools I already had. I used Warp for a while, and then Superset. Both are genuinely good tools. But neither one fit the workflow I had in my head. I needed something built around agents, first-class support for the way you actually work when half your "team" is a fleet of CLIs running in parallel across different folders. So I started building Abundio. The idea is straightforward: a GPU-accelerated terminal multiplexer where AI coding agents are first-class citizens. Each workspace is bound to a folder. You split panes and run whatever agent you want in each one, and the app actually understands the agents. It tracks their lifecycle, so you can tell at a glance which panes are working, which are waiting, and which are idle. No more hunting through windows to find the one that needs you. Around that core I've been adding the things I reach for constantly without leaving the window, a file explorer, a Monaco-based editor, git integration, a GitHub PR panel, full-text search across the workspace. The terminal is still the center of gravity, but I don't have to leave it to do the work around the work. I built Abundio because I wanted it to exist and nothing else did it quite right. If you're juggling more agents than windows can keep up with, that's exactly the itch I'm trying to scratch. More soon.

Who hunted Abundio?

Abundio was hunted by Emil Muller. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
