A11yEngine
AI that scans, explains and fixes WCAG issues for you.
Meet the Grammarly for Web Accessibility. A11yEngine scans webpages section-by-section, explains WCAG 2.2 issues, and generates framework-aware remediation.
I have 6+ years Building and testing enterprise SaaS/FinTech products which meets mostly every guidelines according to WCAG compliance.
The problem : Automated scanners are fast, But are the reliable? Sometimes they miss alt tags, sometimes they miss aria-hidden, focus trap and what not! Which requires a lot of manual testing.
What I Built : A11yEngine scans a page section-by-section, explains each WCAG 2.2 issue in plain language and generates fixes according to your website framework.
How it evolved: I started with rule based check, context-awareness, does this focus order really makes sense? the button is disabled but why it is having focus
Would love your feedback, Especially from the DEVs who have felt the same gap. What is the most frustrating part while you do accessibility testing?
