I’m Akash, the maker behind 365-Days Challenge-Streakproof.
I’ve been an iOS developer for 15 years, but recently I realized something embarrassing: I had spent my entire career building apps for clients, agencies, and companies—but never a single product for myself.
So 2 weeks ago, I decided to change that. I committed to a 365-day build-in-public challenge and built v1.0 of this app from scratch in 7 days. (Fun fact: Apple actually rejected my first submission on Day 8 because I rushed the onboarding! Fixed it in 5 hours and got approved 24 hours later).
I built Streakproof because I noticed so many creators, developers, and fitness folks on social media tracking challenges manually using notes apps or raw phone screenshots. I wanted a clean, native iOS app where you can create challenges, track daily task checklists, and see your progress on one clean dashboard.
The core app is 100% free to use.
